Modernist architectural chairs from 1960 build 'Kurioschurch' by Jo Vegter.

Created with Sketch.

These chairs were made in the 1960s during the construction of the 'Kurios Church' in Leeuwarden by Jo Vegter. In addition to the dozens of benches for the 'normal person', these chairs are made for the so-called important people. The modernist design is strongly reminiscent of other designs from that time such as Prouve. The chairs were made in the furniture factory 'Friesland' 1918-2014, the wood used is 'Parana Pinewood'. These chairs are in sturdy and good vintage condition, with signs consistent with age and use. We offer two sets of 6.
