Pascal Mourgue chairs 
for Edition Groupe Essai

This rare set of two is designed by the well known Pascal Morgue  in his early days (when he was 26 years old) for the 'Edition Groupe Essai' in the 1970's. 

You notice that Pascal's early design was experimental, the springy plywood seat (which is still sturdy) makes the chairs mainly decorative. Rarely offered especially as couple. 

Documented in the brochure of his Paris exhibition in the 1970s.
