Very well made set with great age to it. The set is in original and used condition made in the early 1960's.

This early set was purchased by Veronika Hampe, owner of the well-known music store 'Hampe en Berkel'. She lived above the store and later nearby Leidsestraat/Spui, Amsterdam. The set was custom-made upon request, in a special and unusually large size.
The family believed the set was purchased at Metz&co Amsterdam since it was right around the corner of the music store, but the custom option makes that highly unlikely.
